Itinerary

Day 1: San Pedro de Atacama to Hito Cajón (Not incluided).

The contact will take place in Hito Cajón. Departure to Laguna Verde. Behind the lake rises the cone of the Licancabur Volcano, with an altitude of 5960 meters. We are going to continue to Laguna Colorada. There you shall see the famous “JAMES FLAMENCOS” unique in the world, the eternal ices, also, we can see the different colors of the lagoon until it gets red.

The rich red coloration is derived from algae and plankton, which thrive in its minerals. On the way, you are going to see Valle de Dalí (Dali’s Valley), this is a site of intense volcanic activity; the Chalviri thermal waters and the Geysers Sol de Mañana (Morning Sun). At appropriate time we will arrive to Villa Mar; overnigth at Jardines de Mallku Cueva Hotel. Lunch / dinner.

Day 2: Villamar - Uyuni Salt Flat.

We will to visit Colchani, it is the best place to observe the salt extraction methods, trip to the salt flat; we are going to continue till Incahuasi Island; the lunch will be served in the middle of the Salt Flat. Road trip back to Colchani and accommodation at Palacio de Sal Hotel, the first hotel
entirely made of salt. Lunch / Dinner.
