Itinerary
Day 1: Uyuni – Uyuni Salt Flat – Tahua
We begin your Uyuni Salt Flat Uturunco 4 days tour with pickup from the airport or your hotel in Uyuni. From here, we start our private 4×4 Bolivia desert tour, heading first to the iconic Train Cemetery, a fascinating open-air museum of historic locomotives.
We continue to Colchani village, where you will visit a traditional salt-processing plant and a local artisan market—an authentic cultural experience during this Salar de Uyuni expedition.
Entering the vast Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt flat in the world, we explore incredible natural formations such as salt pyramids, “eyes of the salt,” and the first salt hotel, now a museum. We then enjoy a unique lunch in the middle of the salt flats, surrounded by endless white horizons.
