Itinerary
Day 01: Uyuni - Train Cemetery - Incawasi Island - Coqueza.
We begin our visit by the train cemetery, where the first locomotives that arrived in Bolivia in the eighteenth century for the transfer of minerals between Pulacayo and Antofagasta are located. We continue our visit to the great Salar de Tunupa, our next stop is the town of Colchani, where the locals sell salt handicrafts and make demonstrations about the processing of salt.
Then we enter the Salar itself, which is the largest white lake in the world with approximately 10,500 km2. Our visit continues to the Ojos de Sal, Pyramids of Salt, former Salt Hotel. We arrive at the Incawasi Island, which is a real Cactus Valley in the middle of the Salt Desert, where you can take a walk through this unique island, upon payment and registration.
Afterwards, we will head north to the place where we will spend the night. After registration, we will take you back to the salt flat to observe the wonderful sunset over this magical place, arrival to our resting place in the town of Coqueza which is located at the foot of the Tunupa Volcano.

Day 2: Ascent of Tunupa Volcano - Uyuni
After breakfast we will go to the mummies of Tunupa, then we will hike to the viewpoint of the Tunupa volcano, which is located at 4,400 m. This offers amazing views of the volcano and the great salt lake. Then we go to the village of Chantani, to visit the picturesque museum that was built by the locals entirely of stones.
In the afternoon we return to Uyuni.
