Itinerary

Day 01: the Floating Islands of the Uros.

Your adventure begins with hotel pickup in Puno (07:30 – 08:00 AM), followed by a transfer to the port of Lake Titicaca. Board your boat and start a scenic Lake Titicaca tour, crossing the highest navigable lake in the world.

The first stop is the famous Uros Floating Islands, located about 30 minutes by boat. Here, you will meet the Uros people and learn about their unique lifestyle, ancestral traditions, and how the islands are built using totora reeds. This is a unique cultural experience and an important highlight of any Lake Titicaca tour.

Continue the journey by boat for approximately 2.5 hours to Amantani Island, where you will enjoy an authentic homestay experience with a local family. Savor a traditional Andean lunch, prepared with fresh local ingredients.

Day 02: Amantani Island & Taquile Islan

Start your day with a traditional breakfast with your host family on Amantani Island, enjoying an authentic Andean homestay experience. Around 08:00 AM, descend to the port to board your boat across Lake Titicaca toward Taquile Island.

Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walk along scenic paths while discovering the island’s rich cultural heritage. Taquile Island is world-famous for its traditional textiles, recognized for their quality, symbolism, and ancestral techniques. Meet local residents and learn about their customs, clothing, music, and daily life, offering a deep cultural immersion.
