Itinerary

Day 1: La Paz - Chiar Khota Lagoon

Early departure from La Paz to the Rinconada Ranch by vehicle. Then, after rounding up a team of llamas or mules for our gear, we have a 2 hour trek to the Chiar Khota Lagoon (4,630m), where we will set up our first base camp.

Day 2: Summit Day

We will have another alpine start, as it is a long day to reach up to the Cabeza del Condor summit. The terrain begins on very loose rock until we reach the ice, turning the climbing into a more technical one. Once in the summit and after some pictures, we’ll start our return by the same route to our base camp.

Day 3: Rinconada - La Paz

Early in the morning we will begin the return to the Rinconada where our vehicle will be waiting to take us back to La Paz. Ending of our services.
