Day 1: Transfer from El Calafate Airport to El Chaltén

Your Chaltén Patagonian 7 Days tour begins upon arrival at El Calafate Airport, where you will take a scenic transfer to El Chaltén, the heart of Patagonia trekking in Argentina. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours, crossing the vast Patagonian steppe and dramatic wind-shaped landscapes.

Day 3: Trek to the Maestri viewpoint; Torres campsite

After breakfast, we begin the descent through the beautiful valley of the Madre and Hija lagoons, enjoying constant views of Monte Fitz Roy. The trail crosses lenga forests and alpine terrain, leading us into the spectacular Cerro Torre valley, one of the most iconic Patagonia trekking routes.

We arrive at Torres Campsite, where we leave our overnight gear before continuing on a lighter hike to the famous Maestri Viewpoint, located near Cerro Torre. This viewpoint is named after the legendary Italian climber Cesare Maestri, and offers breathtaking views of glaciers, granite spires, and the dramatic Patagonian landscape.

Day 4: Trek to the Agachonas Pass; Laguna Toro campsite
