Day 1: Arequipa – Base camp (Misti)
Your Misti Volcano Summit Trek 2 Days begins with hotel pickup in Arequipa at 8:00 a.m.. Travel by 4×4 vehicle for approximately 1.5 hours to the western base of Misti Volcano, reaching Los Pastores (3,400 m / 11,155 ft), the starting point of your trekking adventure.
From here, begin your ascent along volcanic slopes and scenic mountain trails surrounded by spectacular views of the Andes Mountains and the city of Arequipa. The trek to Eagles Nest Base Camp (4,800 m / 15,744 ft) takes approximately 6 to 8 hours, gradually gaining altitude through unique volcanic landscapes.
Upon arrival at base camp, enjoy a well-deserved dinner, admire the stunning sunset over the Andes, and spend the night camping beneath a sky full of stars in preparation for your summit climb the next morning.

This challenging climb takes approximately 5 to 6 hours, following steep volcanic slopes and high-altitude terrain with spectacular views of the Andes.
