We will depart from Cusco at 6:00am by a public bus, reaching village Tinke around 9:30am. Here in Tinke we have an Andean typical breakfast. From the village Tinke we will take a private transport (about 1 hour) to village Packchanta (3800m) where we will have a snack and meet the muleteer and horses to carry our big rucksacks up to the base camp Pachaspata (4800m). We will hike with our small daypacks containing water and snack for 2 hours until reaching the Laguna Verde, where we will have a bag lunch and afterwards we will hike for another 2 hours until the base camp. The rest of the day we
will spend preparing a gear for the next day summit and resting, cooked dinner included.

Day 2: Pacchanta – Pachaspata - Cusco

We will get up at 4am, take a breakfast and walk 2 hours with our head torches until we reach the glacier. There we will put on our crampons, the harnesses with the ropes, get ready the ice axes, have a snack and continue for another 3.5 hours to the summit. During the ascent, in the middle of the glacier we will approach a strip of a rock formation (light climbing) for which we will dismount the crampons. At the peak we will have a time to take photos, appreciate the views and have a light meal. We will return taking the same route to the base camp (3 hours). At the base camp we will have a cooked lunch and rest for about an hour before hiking down to the village Packchanta (4 hours).
