Nazca - Cerro Blanco

Experience an unforgettable Cerro Blanco sandboarding tour in the heart of the Peruvian desert, near Nazca. This 7-hour desert adventure takes you to Cerro Blanco, known as the highest sand dune in the world, perfect for thrill-seekers and nature lovers.

Departures: 05:00 hrs & 11:00 hrs

05:00 hrs – Early Morning Departure (Recommended)
We pick you up from your hotel before sunrise to begin your Nazca desert adventure. Departing early allows us to avoid the intense desert heat and enjoy cooler, more comfortable conditions.

We travel by vehicle to km 23, where the hiking adventure begins. The ascent takes approximately 3 hours, climbing through rocky terrain until reaching the vast sandy slopes of Cerro Blanco. Along the way, enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding desert landscapes.

Upon reaching the summit, you’ll have time to rest and take in the breathtaking scenery. Your professional guide will then provide safety instructions and introduce you to the basics of sandboarding in Peru.

You will start practicing on smaller dunes, learning techniques and fun styles before moving on to the main event. Once ready, enjoy an exciting descent down a massive dune slope of approximately 600 meters, delivering an adrenaline-filled sandboarding experience.

After the final descent, we walk for about 30 minutes to reach the pickup point, where our transport will be waiting to take you back to Nazca.
