Itinerary
Inkachiriasqa Lagoon
Your adventure begins with an early hotel pick-up in Cusco between 3:00 and 3:30 a.m.. Travel through the beautiful Andean highlands toward Limatambo, enjoying the peaceful landscapes as the sun rises over the mountains.
At approximately 7:00 a.m., enjoy a delicious breakfast in Limatambo before continuing the journey to Qollor Village, the starting point of the hike. Upon arrival around 8:30 a.m., begin your trek through spectacular mountain scenery, surrounded by valleys, native vegetation, and panoramic views of the Andes.
Around 10:00 a.m., reach Waywakunka Pass, a scenic viewpoint offering breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains. Continue along the trail toward the impressive Salkantay Viewpoint, arriving at approximately 11:50 a.m., where you will admire the majestic Salkantay Mountain, one of the most sacred and iconic peaks in the Peruvian Andes.
The adventure continues to the stunning Inkachiriasqa Lagoon, arriving around 12:15 p.m.. Take time to relax, explore the area, and capture unforgettable photos of its crystal-clear waters and dramatic alpine landscape.
After enjoying the lagoon, begin the return hike to Waywakunka Pass and descend through the same scenic route back to the trailhead. Upon arrival, enjoy a well-deserved lunch before boarding the transportation back to Cusco.
You will arrive in Cusco at approximately 6:00 p.m., concluding an unforgettable day surrounded by some of the most spectacular landscapes in the Andes.
