Itinerary

Day 1-Cusco - Apu Tacllo

Your adventure begins early in the morning with a hotel pickup in Cusco at around 4:00 a.m. Our professional guide and private transportation will take you on a scenic journey դեպի the south of Cusco.

After approximately 3.5 hours, we arrive in the province of Sicuani, where you will enjoy a delicious breakfast to recharge your energy. We then continue by vehicle for about 1 more hour to the district of Layo, the starting point of our hike.

From here, we begin a 5 km hike (approx. 1.5–2 hours) the spectacular Pallay Punchu mountain of Apu Tacllo. The trail gradually ascends through stunning Andean landscapes until reaching an altitude of 4,790 m (15,715 ft).

At the top, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the colorful, jagged formations of Pallay Punchu—a truly unique natural wonder. Take your time to explore, capture incredible photos, and enjoy this peaceful, less-crowded destination.

After the visit, we descend at a comfortable pace back to our vehicle, with time for final photos along the way. We then return to Sicuani for a buffet lunch.

Finally, we travel back to Cusco, arriving at your hotel in the evening, bringing this unforgettable adventure to an end. Peruvian Andes.
