Itinerary
Full Day Paracas National Reserve
04:00 hrs – Departure from Lima Early morning bus departure from Lima to Paracas Bay (approx. 4 hours) as part of your Paracas & desert coast adventure in Peru.
07:45 hrs – Arrival in Paracas Reception and transfer to the pier in Paracas. Brief check-in before starting the Ballestas Islands wildlife tour.
08:00 hrs – Ballestas Islands Boat Tour (2 hrs) Begin your marine wildlife experience in Peru with a speedboat excursion to the famous Ballestas Islands. On the way, we stop to observe the mysterious Candelabro, a giant geoglyph carved into the desert cliffs, often linked to the Nazca culture and visible from the ocean
At the islands, enjoy close encounters with sea lions, Humboldt penguins, guano birds (Guanay, Booby, and Tern species), and other marine wildlife living in their natural habitat. This area is one of the most important marine reserves in Peru, offering incredible opportunities for photography and nature observation.

11:00 hrs – Paracas National Reserve Tour (approx. 5 hrs) Continue your coastal desert adventure with a guided visit to the Paracas National Reserve, a protected natural area known for its dramatic landscapes and biodiversity.
Explore stunning desert cliffs, ocean viewpoints, and beaches such as Yumaque and Lagunillas, where you can observe marine birds, flamingos (parihuanas), and other native and migratory species.
Enjoy panoramic views of the red and gold desert meeting the Pacific Ocean, a highlight of this nature and landscape tour in southern Peru.
Lunch is at passengers’ expense inside the reserve.
16:10 hrs – Return to Lima
Transfer to the bus station and departure back to Lima (approx. 4 hours).
