Itinerary
Full Day ATV Adventure to Rainbow Mountain
Our exciting Rainbow Mountain ATV Adventure from Cusco begins with early morning hotel pick-up in Cusco between approximately 3:15 and 3:30 am. We travel by tourist transport for about 2 hours and 40 minutes to the village of Japura, where a delicious local breakfast will be served around 6:20 am.
After breakfast, we continue the journey with a thrilling ATV ride to Cruzpata, taking approximately 1 hour through scenic Andean landscapes. From there, we begin a short hike of about 35 minutes to reach the breathtaking Rainbow Mountain, also known as Vinicunca, famous for its colorful mineral layers and stunning panoramic views.
At the summit, you will have ample time to explore and take the best photos, as we arrive early to enjoy the site with fewer crowds. After the visit, we descend for about 25 minutes back to the ATV station, where we continue the return journey by quad bike to Japura.
A well-deserved lunch awaits you in Japura before heading back to Cusco by tourist transport. The tour concludes in Cusco around 3:00 pm, finishing near the Plaza Regocijo.
