Highlights

  • Without a doubt, Huaraz is the ideal travel destination for those who love mountains and heights. The region is surrounded by the highest mountains in northern Peru, being the Pastoruri snow-capped mountain one of the most easily accessible natural attractions within the Huascaran National Park.
  • Nevado Pastoruri is one of those jewels that will be lost over time. Unfortunately, climate change has drastically affected this region, causing the melting of most of the glaciers and snow-capped mountains that are part of the Cordillera Blanca.
