Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive to Lima

09:00AM pick up from the hotel to start the LIMA MODERNA tour We will start our tour through the modern residential districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. We will visit the Financial Center, the Golf, the Olivar, the Huaca Pucllana, a pre-Inca Ceremonial Temple in the form of a pyramid that has survived the urban expansion of Lima. We will make a stop at Larcomar, a shopping and entertainment center located on the Malecon of Miraflores, from where we will observe the Pacific Ocean.
COLONIAL LIMA: Continuing our tour, we will go to the Historic Center of Lima, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1991, where the center of the Spanish colony was established in the sixteenth century and the first buildings were erected. We will visit the San Martin Square, its balconies and old mansions, the Main Square and its most important buildings such as the Government Palace, the Cathedral of Lima, the Archbishop’s and Municipal Palace, the Desamparados Station, among others. CONVENT AND CATACUMBS OF SAN FRANCISCO We will enter one of the most important convents of the XVII century. We will visit the old Library, the Choir, the Main Cloister and the subway crypts known as Catacombs. Finishing our tour in Larcomar, where the best restaurants of typical Peruvian food are located, you will be able to enjoy the Peruvian gastronomy.

Day 2: Tour Ica - Paracas - Nature Reserve - Huacachina Oasis

A spectacular adventure to the south, in the Paracas National Reserve, the natural jewel of Peru. This reserve is a protected area of rich marine and terrestrial ecosystem.
We will start the visit with an excursion to the Ballestas Islands in Paracas, home to sea lions, Humboldt penguins and guano birds. On the way we will see an enigmatic shape in the sand, the Candelabro, an ancient geoglyph associated with the Nazca Lines. We will travel in a modern airboat to the high seas, for an average of almost an hour and a half, after lunch, we will meet at a new meeting point to board the Minibus that will take us to Huacachina Lagoon, the trip takes almost an hour south, passing through towns like Guadalupe, La Angostura.

AFTERNOON:  Ica – Oasis Huacachina – Tubing and Sandboarding

Paracas-Huacachina-Full day- To finish our tour, we will visit the Huacachina Oasis which is located one kilometer from the city of Ica. In this place visitors can enjoy the tranquility that nature gives us and walk around. We visualize the giant dunes surrounding the Oasis and enjoy adventure sports, the Tubulars and Sandboard (Optional) which is to travel through the desert in sand carts (Tubulars) and everyone will have time to slide the sand with the board, after doing extreme sports in oasis, we will have the option to visit the Huacachina.

Day 3: Flight Lima - Cusco

The tour begins in the city, which includes a visit to the Cathedral, Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), current monastery of Santo Domingo, a place that houses within one of the most important religious centers of the Inca era, the tour will move to the outskirts of the city to visit in the first term, the magnificent Sacsayhuaman (Puma Head), just 200 meters. From Sacsayhuaman is our next destination, Q’enqo (Labyrinth), a religious center dedicated to the cult of the earth and, according to some theories, to funerary rituals. Puca Pucara (Reddish Square), which served as a center for military purposes and control and was a mandatory stop for all travelers in Inca times. Our last destination, just 100 meters from Puca Pucara, is the Tambomachay (Water Temple), which served as a center of worship and water culture

Day 4: Sacred Valley Tour

Tour Sacred Valley of the Incas: We will visit the town of Pisac and its handicraft market, Qoya, Lamay, Calca, Yucay. We will continue our tour to Urubamba, commercial center of the Valley, highlighting its countryside and its pleasant climate at the foot of the snowy Chicon, here we will enjoy lunch at a tourist restaurant.
Then we will continue our tour to Ollantaytambo; architectural complex that was in the times of the Tahuantinsuyo a gigantic agricultural, administrative, social, religious and military complex. Then we will move to Chinchero, the last point of the tour. This town is a beautiful example of the mestizo and colonial style.

Day 5: Full Day Machupicchu ( 5:00am - 11:50pm)

We will take the bus that will take us to the archaeological sanctuary of Machu Picchu. The ride will take 30 minutes, finally we will arrive at the Inca citadel, you will be amazed by this monument that is considered one of the 7 wonders of the modern world, immediately our guide will start the tour for you to learn more about the history and architecture of the Inca city of Machu Picchu. In the afternoon we will go to the train station for the return to Ollantaytambo city and we will pick you up from the train station to transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 6: Tour Laguna Humantay

Cusco – Mollepata – Soraypampa – Humantay Lagoon: We will pick you up at your respective hotel at 5:00AM and then travel in our private transportation to the town of Mollepata located in the lush valley of the Apurimac River. After a well deserved breakfast to fill us with energy we will continue our journey to Soraypampa (3900masl) after a short rest, we will begin our hike to Humantay lake located at 4200mt 13779 feet, after the ascent of 1 hour and 30 min approximately we can appreciate such a wonderful place and return to our camp to have our lunch with beautiful panoramic views of the snowy peaks and then be transferred to our city of Cusco, we will leave you in the center of the city (near the main Plaza de Armas).

Day 7: Tour Rainbow Mountain

We pick you up at the hotel at 5:00 am, we head south of the city of Cusco, travel time 2 hours and 45 minutes to the community of JAPURA, where we will have our breakfast. Then we will continue for 15 minutes more to Pitumarca (Quesiyono) at 4,400masl approx. from where we will start our hike on an easily accessible trail, for an estimated time of 3 hours and arrive at the Mountain of Colors, magical landscapes located at 5,000 masl. approx. After enjoying the wonder that our mother nature presents us, we will return by the same route, where our transport awaits us and then we move for 15 minutes to the place for lunch, then we return to Cusco, approx. 5:00pm).
