2nd day: Visit Machu Picchu – Hydroelectric – Cusco
05:20 hrs: Breakfast.
05:45 / 06:00 hrs: Arrive at Aguas Calientes bus station.
06:30 hrs: Ascent by bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu.
07:00 / 07:15 hrs: Start of the tour for 02 hours to the most important places of the Inca citadel, then free time to explore and take some pictures.
11:00 hrs: Time to start the hike to the Hydroelectric, down by Puente Ruinas and return to our private terminal. Approximately 3 hours on foot.
14:30 / 15:00 hrs: Board the bus and departure to the city of Cusco.
21:30 hrs: Arrival to the imperial city of Cusco. *Plaza San Francisco.
Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco - Abra Malága - Santa María - Santa Teresa - Hydroelectric
We will be located from the meeting point “PLAZA DE REGOCIJO” in the morning 07:00 AM, transfer by bus from the city to the bus station of the Hydroelectric.
During the bus ride, we will be able to appreciate different types of natural scenery such as: the Sacred Valley of the Inkas, high Andean landscapes and above all the presence of the rainforest or high jungle. In the afternoon we will have lunch and then we will continue our hike to the town of Aguas Calientes (25 minutes of flat walk, 10 minutes of ascent and 2 hours of flat walk).
We will arrive at our destination around 05:30 – 05:50 PM and we will go to our assigned hotel, and at night we will enjoy our dinner and at the same time we will take the opportunity with our Machu Picchu site guide to give you the briefing for the tour tomorrow.

- 3rd Route: Approximately 2 hours of flat trekking (Train Track – Ruins Bridge – Aguas Calientes Village)

Day 2: Machu Picchu - Hydroelectric - Cusco
This day we wake up early at 4:00 AM. We will have breakfast and start climbing by bus from 5:20 AM to Machu Picchu (we must be 40 minutes before the departure of the first bus). We will meet at the entrance gate of Machu Picchu with our site guide and the rest of the group.
We will start with our guided tour for 02 hours in Machu Picchu, then we will have free time until 11:30 AM to visit the Inca citadel. After the visit we will walk down to Puente Ruinas for 45 minutes and continue on a flat walk to the bus station of Hidroeléctrica. Our minibuses will be waiting for us from 02:15 – 02:45 PM to board the transport to the city of Cusco, arrival time at 09:00 – 09:30 PM approximately. End of services.
Our visit to Machu Picchu will end at 11:00 a.m. because we will have to return to the bus station of Hidroelectrica, we will walk down to an intermediate point of Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes called Puente Ruinas. At this point we will start the hike to the Hidroelectrica, where we will be waiting for our transport in minibus from 14:15 – 14:45 hours to return to the city of Cusco. We will arrive to the imperial city approximately at 21:00 – 21:30 hours.
