Itinerary
Day 1 Llanganuco Lake.
Departure at 09:00 AM from Huaraz. Travel through the scenic Callejón de Huaylas, enjoying spectacular views of the Cordillera Blanca and traditional Andean villages.
The first stop is Anta Viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Continue to Carhuaz, where you can sample the famous local artisan ice cream and regional products.
Next, visit the historic Yungay Memorial Park, the site of the city buried by the devastating 1970 earthquake and avalanche. Learn about this important chapter in the history of Ancash.
