Flight Over Nazca Lines

Overview
The Nazca Lines are ancient geoglyphs located in the Nazca desert in southern Peru. These figures are approximately 2000 years old. Historians and archaeologists continue to debate how they originated and to this day there is no agreement on their origin. The only way to appreciate these incredible geoglyphs is to fly over the Nazca Lines. There are more than 40 aqueducts, known as “Puquios”, which were made to bring water to this desert town. On this tour you will be able to observe many of the lines that can only be seen from the sky.
Highlights
In Peru, in the Nazca desert, located in the department of Ica, between the towns of Nazca and Palpa, specifically in the Pampa de Socos is one of the great mysteries of humanity: the Nazca lines, also known as geoglyphs of the Pampas de Jumana.
Seeing these enormous drawings from the sky was one of the most amazing experiences of my trip to Peru and it is incredible to imagine how they managed 2000 years ago to draw perfect figures without having an aerial perspective. You can’t miss them for anything in the world!!!
