  • Take Soroche Pills (Soroche Pills) for altitude sickness or otherwise drink plenty of coca leaves tea.

  • Apply sun block, at least every two hours. Carry extra money in soles for certain expenses during the route.
  • Do not leave your garbage in the place, take care of the environment.
  • But this mountain is one of the most beautiful and representative of the Cusco Andes. The landscapes it offers and the experience that the traveler lives in Ausangate are priceless. It is only 100 kilometers southeast of Cusco.
  • Climate in the Ausangate snow-capped peak
  • The climate is generally cold in the area, although at night temperatures drop to below 5°C (41°F).
