This tour combines two most magical destinations in South America. Cruise in a deluxe ship around the Galapagos Islands and discover the unique plant and animal life found nowhere else in the world, before travelling to Peru onto the mystical imperial city of the Inca’s – Machu Picchu. Travel to the fabled Sacred Valley and city of Cuzco, along with the mysterious Machu Picchu, before heading to the Galapagos Islands to experience the natural wonders of the Enchanted Isles, this adventure is perfect for families, couples and travelers of all ages.

Day 1 - International arrival in Quito

Upon arrive to Quito; our representative will be waiting for you with a customized sign with your name on it as you clear customs at Airport and take you straight to your hotel.
There are no planned activities, so check into the hotel and rest up.

Note: when booking your flight to Quito, try to arrive between 3 to 10PM so that you have time to arrive in Quito, transfer to your hotel and have some rest before your Galapagos tour next day.

Day 2 - Colonial City Tour & Middle of the World
Breakfast at Hotel, pick up from the hotel for Colonial city tour; San Francisco de Quito UNESCO´S World Heritage Site, recognized as the largest and better preserved colonial city in the Americas. Quito, due to its artistic vocation offers art and creativity ranging from the modern to the lavish baroque. While touring opportunity to recognize the gothic style of the Basilica of the Heart of Jesus; dwellings with architectonical influence derived from Spanish Conquistadores visible in observation of tile roofs, forged iron rode balconies and beautifully carved doors. The heart of Quito, Independence Square, flanked by the Presidential and the Archbishop´s palaces, the Metropolitan Cathedral give to the visitor the feeling of going back in time to the of Spanish-American era.
Visit the “Middle of the world” situated at 0º0’0” latitude; your tour begins as you head to the northern part of Quito. Here, visit the visit the monument that divides the northern and southern hemispheres.

Day 3-6 - Deluxe Galapagos cruise (4 Days / 3 Nights)
All-included Galapagos Cruise on board the M/V Galapagos Legend or M/Y Corals: Local roundtrip air tickets to Galápagos. Roundtrip transfers hotel - airport and airport - dock (shared service).
Today you fly out of Quito, about 600 miles out over the Pacific Ocean to arrive at the Galapagos Islands. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your vessel.
The exact itinerary varies from vessel to vessel, but you will spend these days exploring the islands in depth. Your boat will travel between several different islands, so that you can experience a wide variety of the unique wildlife and environments that the Galapagos offers. Each island presents a unique experience, and often there are species found nowhere else in the world but on that island.
Visit the Enchanted Islands like Darwin in 1835 for the best Natural History show on Earth. Only a selected few ever reach this Paradise, on board a lovely vessel with bronze and wood interiors and ample outdoor decks. Enjoy whirlpool, swimming pool, solarium and open-air bar facilities and fully equipped cabins with air-conditioning and panoramic sea-view windows.
See prehistoric looking iguanas, giant tortoises, exotic birds, plants and beautiful landscapes of volcanoes, lava cones and recent volcanic flows. Swim and snorkel any time of year in the warm clear waters and colorful beaches among tropical fish, manta rays, sea lions, swordfish, sea turtles and other marine wildlife.
Multilingual naturalist guides lead shore excursions twice a day to a place unlike any other full of wildlife that has no fear of man. Lectures explaining the geology, history, evolution, flora and fauna of the islands are provided in several languages.
A fine selection of meals will delight you, from buffet breakfasts to gourmet dinners, ice cream festivals, and evening barbecues.

Day 7 – Depart from Quito - Flight to Lima
Breakfast; transfer to the airport to connect international flight to Lima (Peru).

Day 8 – Lima Sightseeing Tour
Breakfast at Hotel; the sightseeing Lima tours commence in the morning (9:15AM) when you will be picked from the hotel. Such a tour is the most excellent means of visiting Lima and immersing yourself in its history. On the trip you will visit several aspects of Lima’s history such as the pre-Hispanic, colonial, and modern periods. At the beginning of the tour, you will experience a full-view of the Pucllana Pyramid. This breathtaking piece of architecture was built back in the 4th century AD and holds religious significance for the Incas. After seeing the pyramid, the trip will continue and you will be taken to the Historical Center of Lima. Here you will come across 50+ monuments and other structures from the colonial period, including the Paseo de la Republica, the San Martin Square, the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop fs Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, and the City Council Palace, and many more. The next stop will be at the grand San Francisco Covent, which houses the largest collection of religious art in America. The high-point of this trip will be the visit to the Catacumbas, which are tombs built under the ground. The tour will end with your visit to modern-day Lima, areas like El Olivar of San Isidro, Miraflores and Larcomar. The entire tour will last for approximately 4 hours; back to Hotel

Day 9 – Flight to Cusco and Cusco Sightseeing Tour
Breakfast at hotel; transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco, the ancient Inca capital of the Incas. Upon arrival to Cusco; reception and transfer to your Hotel – free morning to get acclimatization.
You will be picked up from the hotel at 1:20PM in the afternoon for a trip to explore the magic and splendor of the Cusco, the Incan Empire’s capital. You will see the Temple of the Sun, the Santo Domingo Convent and the well-known Cusco Cathedral and its Cuzqueño paintings as well as the 4 main Inca sites that include Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and Qenko. The tour will commence from Cusco’s Main Square. On entering Cusco’s cathedral, you will be able to see the intricate woodwork and the colonial paintings that contain detailed Incan iconography. After that you will head to the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha upon which the Convent of Santo Domingo has been built. According to a legend, this temple was entirely gold plated and many conquerors were impressed by its magnificence when they came here.
You will then be driven a 10-minute distance up the mountainside for a visit to the archaeological sites present there. From there you will be taken to see the famous Sacsayhuaman Park where you can see a beautiful panoramic view of the city of Cusco. There are splendid Incan design and beautiful artwork with enormous stones in Sacsayhuaman Park. The stones are 9 meters or 30 feet in length and weigh as much as 125 tons. Then you will visit Qenqo which is Puma’s old temple. Inside there is a sacrificial altar built with an enormous stone. At Tambomachay, the sacred fountains that symbolize life and health can be seen. Finally you will be taken to Puca Pucara, which protected the Sacsayhuaman Fortress and the city gates. Day 10 - Sacred Valley Tour: Market of Pisaq & Ollantaytambo Fortress Archeological Site
Full day tour to the Sacred Valley, once inhabited by the Incas, can be explored on a full-day trip that is included in your Cusco Tours package. You can visit Pisaq, a scenic town, where you can go and see their local market and even see the mass, if you go on a Sunday. After that, your next destinations will be the remains of the Ollantaytambo Fortress and then the Temple of the Sun.
You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning at 8:20AM and your Sacred Valley Tour will commence in Pisaq. “Exchange Transactions” were once carried out in the native town of Pisaq. These kinds of transactions involved the exchange of goods between customers rather than currency. You can also visit the Pisaq market where you can buy beautifully crafted locally hand-made products. If you travel on a Sunday, the key attraction is the mass that is observed in Quechua and is carried out in Spanish. The mayors attend the mass with their attendants. The attendants play conventional musical instruments known as “Pututos”. Following that will be a customary Peruvian lunch (added in the price) that you can enjoy before moving on to the Ollantaytambo Fortress and its key attraction which is the Temple of the Sun that has been constructed using gigantic stones. The ancient ruins of the Ollantaytambo Fortress are magnificent and impressive and serve as a perfect vantage point to get a great view of the valley below. Initially, this was Emperor Pachakuteq’s royal estate in the period of the Inca Empire but the site was later made to serve as a confinement for Manco Inca Yupanqui at the time of the Inca’s conclusive rebellion against the people of Spain. You can return to Cusco in the afternoon.

Day 11 - Machu Picchu Tour and Back to Cusco
A Day tour From Cusco to Machu Picchu; you will be picked up from Cusco hotel by our company representative who will then drop you at the railway station of Poroy. You will board the train on that station and then enjoy a 3½ hour long picturesque rail tour before you reach Aguas Calientes. On reaching the station at Aguas Calientes, you will get on a bus that will drive you up a hill to Machu Picchu or “Old Mountain”. Now listed as one of the seven new wonders of the world, Machu Picchu is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is a masterpiece of construction and engineering as well as a sanctuary for Inca Pachakuteq (1438 - 1572).
Your guide will expertly direct you throughout the astounding ruins and its main streets. You can then wander around the town squares as well as climb the intricately carved stairways made of stone. Machu Picchu is considered as the world’s spiritual center by esoteric wisdom. You will be given some time alone to completely absorb this marvelous wonder and let this experience of a lifetime settle in your soul. After the entire tour is complete, you will have enough time to wander around this Archaeological Site leisurely.
You will then have time to indulge in a few of the following activities on your own (price not included in the tour cost):
- You will be given some time (approx. one hour) to walk till the Sun Gate or Inti Punku.
- Other optional activities in Aguas Calientes include a visit to the new local museum.
