This hike along the Zongo Valley will take you on a trip through some of the most dramatic landscapes Bolivia has to offer. The snowcapped peaks of the Andes provide a looming and jagged background to our three-day adventure. Named for their formation similar to that of a condor, in the Condoriri Mountains you will discover a profound serenity between the icy peaks and crystalline mountain lakes that is not to be missed.

The tour begins with a 08:00 pick up from your hotel with private transportation to Tuni Condoriri Mountain, a short trip that takes about 1½ hours. Shaped like a condor's head, the mountain is one of the most popular for hiking in Bolivia. The trail begins at the Tuni Condoriri Lagoon where we will ascend the range for roughly four hours across rocky terrain until we reach the serene Chiarkota Lagoon where we will camp overnight. After breakfast, we will continue to cross the glaciated peaks of the Andean Range for approximately six hours towards ¨Los Pasos de Jistaña Apacheta¨ or the highest natural mountain pass, used in pre-Incan times as an altar and place of offering to the gods. Throughout the day we will stop several times at various "miradors" to take in the inspiring views. At night, we will set up camp outside the peaceful village of Ancoma, nestled beneath the north face of the mountain. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
begins with a hike along Liviñosa, an impressive alpine river, towards Chacapampa and Botijlaca. There we will meet our private transportation and return to La Paz, visiting the historic Milluni Miners Cemetery along the way. (Breakfast)
